Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We wanted to try something new as we always do when out of town and was not disappointed. All employees were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We've never had Venezuelan food. The Arepa looked small but was very filling. It was very stuffed. I was surprised by the ham on the breakfast platter. The tres leches was so good with a latte topped with cinnamon. If you like milky tres leches that isn't over sweet then this is the place to get it. All the flavors of everything was new but amazing.

RUN don't walk to this place. Holy crap on a cracker, Batman, the food here is insanely good. Everything was perfect. Beyond perfect. I'm looking at the Albuquerque housing market for this place alone. In all seriousness, this place is special and your life will be better for eating here. 1000000000/10

If you’re thinking about it, just do it. This place has delicious food, was clean, and even has great food presentation. We got the Reina Arepa, Pernil Arepa, Pollo y Tajada Empanada, and Yuca Fries to share. I could barely finish my arepa after sharing yuca fries with my husband, and an empanada (theirs are huge) plus an arepa was more than enough food for my husband who eats over twice as much as I do. In other words, it’s very filling haha. The chimichurri they serve with the yuca fries, I kid you not, was some of the best I’ve ever had. I wanted to take some home with me but I’m getting on an airplane later 😅 Side note: Arepas are great for a gluten free meal if you have a sensitivity, not sure about cross-contamination because I’m not a celiac and mine is only a sensitivity, but none of the food bothered me!
