CAFE BORJA serves up fine Italian cuisine located in Munster, IN. I found the restaurant interesting from the outside. It is a stand alone architectural building & colorful. That alone made me wanting to visit. Once inside the aesthetics did not disappoint. Venetian glass lighting hung front to back of dining room from local artisans. This colorful feature was A++ art worthy! I found the atmosphere delightful, organic & charming. Food was very good as well. I ordered a house wine brandy & found it flavorful as well as my order of fettuccine alfredo. The noodles were perfecto. My companions were impressed with their choices… each an appealing presentation with plentiful portion sizes to bring home. Dessert was exceptional across the table. I cannot imagine there being better tiramisu (tiramisu lovers) & the portion size was large enough for 3-4 people! The restaurant was clean, acoustically comfortable & tables spaced out a proper distance from other customers. Price point compared to other fine dining establishments with good Italian food. If you are a large group please be quite aware beforehand that your total with be by table only. The restaurant does not do split bill which would be the only downside. I would have given higher star points for this restaurant had it done so. Otherwise I do recommend Cafe Borja for a great night out dining experience. I also would suggest finding a sitter for the children as this is appropriately considerate for other patrons. I just want to say I love this place! The service was soooo professional. They made us feel so fancy and special!! We had our wedding dinner here! The room was beautiful!!! The whole restaurant was so beautiful and classy! Perfect for weddings. 10/10 experience!!! Thank you for making our special day even more special 💗 And the workers worked so hard to make us feel welcomed and happy! A woman even sang for us so we can have our dance 💖😭God bless her wherever she is! Went for dinner for the first time and absolutely loved the place. The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. Everything was cooked to perfection and the team of waiters and servers worked together to ensure a fabulous experience. Will definitely be going back!
