The food was spectacular, layers of flavor and textures that complimented each other so well. You could tell it was made with real ingredients and a lot of thought went into each dish. The service was fantastic, each staff member that came to the table made you feel welcomed without being annoying, they knew the menu well and were helpful with all of our questions without making us feel like we were inconveniencing them. The building and decor is beautiful, moody and chic. This is a great place to stop for a drink, have a date or meet up with friends.

Great food and atmosphere! Came here for an anniversary dinner and really enjoyed it. We ordered the sofra, which is a 3-course dinner for two with the purpose of sharing in the dishes. The dips were a highlight of the meal, with tons of flavor. We ordered the chicken as our main, and it was good, but we found it not as flavorful as we expected. However, everything was very filling and it felt as though it was worth the price. Our server was also very sweet, and when I had left my phone behind the staff did a great job of trying to return it which was appreciated. Overall a good experience and would return, especially for the hummus and dip selection. I will say as other people mentioned, the table did feel quite small for two people when sharing multiple dishes—it was definitely a squeeze against the wall when everything was on the table, which was probably the only downside to our experience.

Calliope is the most exciting meal we’ve had in Chattanooga. You can get shawarma and hummus and feta with pita all over town, but not of this quality. The seafood was the best quality fish, shrimp, and scallops I’ve had in Tennessee. The quality and intentionality in the culinary experience here was so special. I could tell they cared about what they were serving. We ordered six small plates: whipped feta, chicken shawarma, raw scallops, gulf shrimp, swordfish, and short rib. The scallops were so fun, unlike any I’ve eaten before. The shrimp was unreal and so fun, the flavors were dynamic and delightful. Our server, James, was easy to trust and chat with. I’m so glad Calliope is in our city. What a gem.
