There is little street parking, and you will probably have to park in the back. It is paid parking ($1.75 an hour) we got 2 meals and ceviche for $51 total. It came out warm and quick. Presentation was well, the place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. The food as a whole was okay but very happy that Detroit has a good representation of Peruvian food nearby. Worth a try after seeing it online but probably won’t be back for a little while.

5/5 Culantro is the perfect spot for a casual meal. The food was simple yet delicious and offered a ton of nutrition. Between the plantains and my rice bowl, I left feeling completely satisfied. The staff were kind and provided excellent recommendations. Please consider creating a version of the empanadas without olives.

We took a chance on this Peruvian restaurant for a Sunday lunch. It did not disappoint. Service was quick and friendly. The food was very fresh and tasty. The whole menu was very fairly priced. We will be back to try more on the menu.
