For a restaurant of this size, these kinds of tactics to avoid refunding a few dollars for an error that was clearly not the customer’s fault are disappointing. Additionally, they refused to provide an extra cup for tea, stating they strictly count plastic cups. This level of penny-pinching, especially in Dallas on a busy street with many Indian restaurant options nearby, leaves a bad impression. Overall, poor customer service and lack of accountability. I won’t be returning.

I ordered a cake from Desi District and had a wonderful experience. The cake was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully made. Everyone loved the taste and presentation. The staff was polite and professional, and the order was ready on time. I will definitely be ordering again for future occasions. Highly recommend Desi District for cakes! 🎂

This has been our regular hangout spot for the past one and a half years, and we've always enjoyed the food and service. However, for the first time, I’m genuinely disappointed — we ordered Vijayawada Biryani and Paneer Biryani, and both boxes were not properly filled. It felt like they were trying to cover the lack of quantity by topping it with onions. When we raised the issue, we were told that the box sizes had changed. A member of the other management team even came over, tried to adjust the biryani with a spoon, and insisted it was fully packed and saying this is Indian style — which honestly made the situation worse and felt quite unhygienic. Instead of addressing the concern, they kept trying to justify it, which was even more disappointing." *Thank you for your justification* Will never go to this place again.
