Chicken nachos did not disappoint! The chicken was well seasoned and served hot, plenty of toppings and their chips are nice and thick. Also enjoyed their thick delicious salsa (not a fan of thin watery salsa). Service was excellent.

I love Don Sol so much and always have. The food is delicious and the service is usually amazing. I go there quite often and typically have a good experience. However, the past couple months any time i have ordered the kids pollo loco, I have received the kids pollo playa. Last time I tried to bring this up to my waiter, I was told that I was wrong and that was what i ordered when I can 100% guarantee that I ordered the pollo loco (this is quite literally the only meal i’ve ever had from here. i know what i ordered). I asked if I could get a small plate of beans because I ordered the pollo loco (chicken rice and beans) not the pollo playa (just chicken and rice) and was denied that. If it was a one time incident i would not care, but it has happened over and over again to the point where it is just annoying. I don’t enjoy paying for something i did not order.

Everything here has been great so far for the past several years. Something has definitely changed at this location. The only issue I see is that they will over charge you for pickup items and give you smaller portions than what you would receive if dining in. So, you should pay close attention. They will have you sign a receipt but not give you the itemized receipt. They also will charge you $10 for a bag of chips. If you ask them about pricing they act confused. There were several times my family and I picked up large cheese cups and paid $15 a piece for them and yesterday they charged me $13 a piece for them. It really depends on who is taking your order and checking you out at the cashier register. Be very careful and watch how much they charge for items. I am guessing they do not have a lot of customers pay better attention to what they're paying when checking out.
