We came in for a breakfast date, my wife and I had such a great experience. The cafe de olla and horchata were both excellent — the horchata was easily our favorite. We also tried the chilaquiles, tres leches French toast, and a cro-cookie pastry, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the artwork throughout the cafe really adds to the atmosphere. It’s a bright, comfortable place to slow down and enjoy your morning. We’ll definitely be back.

This review is directed to the owner/management. Easy Brew Cafe has a good concept, and I genuinely wanted to like it more. The food and drinks are good, but they are noticeably pricier than similar cafes in the area, which makes the overall experience matter even more. Unfortunately, the customer service and atmosphere really detract from what could be a great spot. The layout is very poorly thought out. The ordering line wraps through the dining room, with servers constantly weaving between customers in line and the counter. While waiting, we were literally standing next to a trash can and a table waste cart (see attached photo). Out of the entire space, this seemed like the worst possible place to keep waste—it’s not inviting at all, especially when you’re there to eat. Service was equally frustrating. There was only one cashier, and when we reached the front, she asked us to “wait a minute” and then walked away. We stood there for about three minutes while four other staff members moved back and forth behind the counter without acknowledging us or the fact that the only cashier was gone. During this time, a staff member was polishing silverware right in front of the register and didn’t acknowledge us either. When I finally asked if there was anyone else who could ring us up, she looked genuinely bewildered before reluctantly taking our order. After that, it still took another 10 minutes to receive very basic drinks. There’s definitely potential here—the concept is solid and the food and drinks are good—but the execution needs serious improvement. Better layout planning, clearer roles for staff, and basic customer acknowledgment would go a long way toward making this place worth the price point.

I liked the art and murals on the walls and how you could even buy some of the art if you wanted. I also liked how the food was beautifully presented. However, I wasn't happy with the price and portion of what I ordered. I got the Smashvocado, basically avocado toast, and paid around $14 for it. For that price you could've at least given me a second slice! I'm home now and I'm still hungry! Also, when I was trying to cut into it, the bread was really hard. The avocado tasted good, though, but most things taste good with avocado anyway. I saw that a woman who ordered pancakes at another table seemed to at least get a decent portion. My sister got the tri-tip steak and eggs and that was around $28. You're free to serve yourself cups of water at a water dispenser, but for some reason 2 of the cups I filled had black things floating around in it. I'm hoping it was just from the water filter. When we arrived, it was full inside with a bit of a line and wait to get inside. There was a sign with a QR code so you could look through the menu as you waited. To me it seems like a hip and cool place to see and be seen, but with high prices and small portions, at least for what I ordered, I wasn't all that satisfied...literally. Like I'm going to need to eat something else now because I'm still hungry!
