This place is a definite place to try out if in the Cave Creek area. The atmosphere was on point. As far as the food...I had a great experience. I had tortilla soup and the two tamales. Paired with a prickly pear margarita. It was delicious. Everyone else in my party (three of them) said their food was dry and mediocre. So they were not jazzed about the food experience at all. But rated the place great in all the other areas.

I felt like I was in Mexico again when dining here, palm trees, old world decor a waterfall and perfect ambiance. The staff were prompt- very helpful and the Mole Enchilada was the best I've had outside of Mexico. Plenty of left over too!
