Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The service was friendly and swift. I love the lounge area, it reminds me of a speakeasy. Our waitress was Elizabeth and she was so sweet. If you can I recommend requesting her. Otherwise the food was outstanding. From the cheese curds being lightly crispy with a nice fluff. To the smoked BBQ pork and the cheeseburger being super tender. Flavor level to the max!

Very pleasant atmosphere. Warm welcome by hostess and Maggie. Received wonderful service from Maggie. She was very attentive and friendly. Had grilled wedge salad. Really unique and delicious. Salmon over mashed potatoes was seasoned very well and really delicious. Huge portion. Polenta was creamy and very good. Soft good music and diners conversations were subdued so you could talk over dinner. Will return.

Wowza! The comments are true - the cocktails are fantastic. The smokey old fashioned was phenomenal, and I also thoroughly enjoyed the whiskey sour. The cheese curds had a light breading and tasted great. The crab cake appetizer sat on top of a salad bed with pumpkin seeds, bacon bits, and truffle oil. My lamb chops tasted fantastic albeit a bit pricey and small. My spouse very much enjoyed the salmon dish. I'm also a suckered for creme brulee - it was perfectly creamy and sweet. This is one of the better meals we've had in a while, although it's also the most expensive meal we've had in a while. I'd consider this again for a special occasion dinner date, but I'll definitely be back for cocktails and appetizers.
