First Wok

I have been coming here for years and I genuinely love the food and highly recommend it to anyone looking for Chinese food in Portage! Portions are generous as a combo plate + side of lo mein typically gives me two meals. Prices are super affordable too! Love the lunch specials, combo plates & egg rolls! I had mono last month and First Wok was the first meal I ate after a month of drinking only water + chicken broth (picture below is roughly 35-40% of what they give you I had a whole other meal for the next day). I love this place so much.

They’re normally good. I always get sweet and sour chicken with combination rice or orange chicken. Today I got their sesame rice and the food wasn’t fresh at all. Every bite tasted like it was reheated and the meat was dry. Great taste tho

Got the general tsos & an egg roll I didn't love the egg roll but the general tsos was good. I'm not the best Chinese I've ever had, but definitely better than Jade's garden 👀
