Grainery Cafe

Our family was staying next door at the Best Western- my husband and sons were ice fishing and my daughter and I stayed at the hotel. It was extremely convenient walk to the restaurant but reading reviews I actually opted against eating here and we ordered DoorDash our first day there. The next day my daughter was fussy so I figured it allowed us to get out of the hotel so we gave it a shot. Sooo mad at myself that we hadn’t done so sooner because it was SOOOOO good!!! My daughter had spaghetti recommended by the waitress (she mentioned the kid at the table next to us had it and loved it!!) and at first she was unsure because it had little chunks of tomatoes in it, after I explained that’s how sauce is made and they won’t taste like tomatoes but more so pasta sauce- she devoured it!!! I tried it and it was very good!!! I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries and it was amazing!! Could have used a little more meat on it but mainly because I don’t get onions or peppers on mine. The atmosphere was fantastic- gave “cafe” vibes in such a good way! Nice big soda in a large mason jar! Highly highly recommend eating here!!!!

Mostly your standard café food, with a few surprises! My daughter had the pulled pork on fries and loved it! Salad bar was fresh with many options. Service was outstanding. My kids have already asked to stop here again on our way through.

5+stars! The food was Excellent! Not one single thing that needed to be different and the variety on the salad bar is another Wow spot here. They accommodated our large group with only 15 minute notice and had a cozy area set up for us! We were extra impressed with the service. We have had several restaurants lately that impressed us with the service and this one was absolutely top notch. Constantly anticipating our needs and so kind and friendly. Absolutely fantastic job!
