Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We like this place very much. The food is very good, fresh and the portions are plentiful for the money. The sushi is unique for a kosher sushi place, some nice combinations and flavors. The Chinese is an add-on from their original business plan and seems to be working well. Our family loves the Chinese food from here. For the visitor or traveler, they package well and they are fast. 10 min on most days/times to prepare your request. It’s a good call if you’re in town. Just be mindful of parking, which can be a challenge.

Hamachi Sushi Bar is a cozy, reliable spot when you’re in the mood for fresh sushi without the fuss. The rolls are nicely balanced and not overloaded with sauce, and the sashimi tastes clean and high quality. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, with presentation that’s simple but appealing. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it a good choice for a casual dinner or a low-key date night. It’s not flashy, just consistently solid sushi that hits the spot.

If you are looking for kosher sushi place - look no further! Only proper kosher fish is available (no eel, no shrimp, crab, etc.) There's a selection with cooked sushi, fake crab meat, and any sushi that is kosher that resembles what the real sushi is supposed to be. The place is small, staff is friendly, and are very kosher aware. The food is very decent if being kosher is the most important thing for you in a meal.
