We have been here several times. The food is slightly upscale and extremely delicious. Their cookies are legendary. I don't care for sugar cookies, but there's are voted best in state. However, the thing that truly sets them apart is the employees. Always charming and friendly. My granddaughter dropped a cheap homemade necklace between the seats in the waiting area. The waitress and manager spent the better part of 15 minutes working to retrieve it. They finally went next door and got chopsticks and taped them together for a tool long enough to receive it. I should have gotten their names, but I failed. I don't think it's a stretch to imagine any of the employees at Hug-Hes doing this. Truly great people and a great restaurant. Ogden's very best!

First time dining here, we had a great experience. The food was good and the vibe was welcoming. I also saw a young server deal with a very demanding guest over seating, can you imagine losing your mind over something so trivial? I would have been so embarrassed to be in her party. (If you see a 1 star review tonight, that’s the Karen, ignore her, her food looked great after her hissy fit.) Anyway, the server handled it way better than most adults would. She stayed calm and professional the whole time. It really stood out to me. Our experience was great and we’ll absolutely be back.

We had a really nice experience overall. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did a great job taking care of us. There was a bit of confusion with the food descriptions, though. My husband ordered a sandwich with “shoestring fries,” but they turned out to be regular fries. They were still good, just not what we expected, so the menu wording could use some clarification. I also ordered the fried green beans, thinking they’d be pan-fried, but they were actually deep-fried. They tasted great, but a more accurate description would help set expectations. All that said, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back—just with a few more questions about the menu next time!
