Indian Masala House is a great destination for large gatherings, boasting a variety of seating options and beautiful decor. Reviewers consistently praise the generous portions and authentic flavors of their dishes, particularly the Tandoori Dinner for Two, which offers an excellent value. However, diners should be aware that the restaurant's identity and halal status may not align with their expectations. Some reviewers have noted that the restaurant is Bangladeshi-owned and serves halal food, which may be a concern for customers who prefer non-halal options. Additionally, the restaurant's hours and wait times may vary, so it's best to plan ahead and check their schedule before visiting.

Excerpts

Indian Masala House is a great restaurant for parties of all sizes. Their interior has a selection of seating and wonderful decor making this a great place for a larger gathering. The food is amazing. I tried the Tandoori Dinner for Two which is a phenomenal value. You get a good amount of food all of which is delicious. The Chicken and Lamb Tandoori were flavorful and cooked to perfection, paired with the Channa Masala made for a delicious meal. I also loved Onion Pakora and Veggie Samosa. Our waiter was extremely helpful and offered us options for when the Dinner for two had an option that we didn't necessarily want. I hope to revisit this delightful restaurant in the future!

I visited this restaurant expecting authentic Indian cuisine, but later realized it’s Bangladeshi-owned with a Bangladeshi chef. It’s disappointing and misleading to market it as an Indian restaurant when it’s not. I also do not prefer halal food, and there was no clear mention of it anywhere — that’s unfair to customers who make choices based on such details. The food itself was nominal in taste, portions were average, and the location was decent with plenty of parking available. Overall, it’s okay for a casual meal, but transparency about cuisine type and preparation style is very important.
