Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I've been here enough times with a couple coworkers that the staff recognizes us now. We always sit at the sushi conveyor, and usually manage to sit at the same table. The food is always great. A few of our favorites are the red dragon, volcano, and Sandy rolls. One of the guys gets the bento box lunch and he's always happy with that. Occasionally I'll get a Sapporo beer, which is always great. My one coworker is mildly obsessed with sushi, so any opportunity he can get for us to agree to come here, he takes it. Not that it takes much for me to agree, as I love being able to have a variety of different rolls without having to eat the whole thing. The small portions are nice. The service is always quick and courteous. Only thing I'll suggest: if you do split checks, make sure you're paying for the right things. Overall, it's worth it for the price at the high quality of food. We've never done the teppanyaki side, but maybe one day.

Went with a group. First time and last. To be fair the others would rate higher. For me, I am not a fish eater. The menu is very fish heavy. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. This is the type of place the chef cooks your meal at your table. Somewhat interesting but no special show. My chicken breast turned out over cooked and dry. The fried rice was okay. The noodles not to my liking. $$ was actually reasonable. Service was good. The tables/counters are old and show wear and cracks. Again to be fair, this is just not my kind of food so my ratings reflect that. Everyone else was into fish and I heard no complaints.

I am someone who never leaves reviews; I usually just keep my thoughts to myself and move on. However, after years of coming to JuRin, this experience was so disappointing that I felt I had to speak up. As a former hibachi restaurant manager, I was shocked by the lack of basic hospitality and professional standards. We came in to celebrate a birthday, but it felt like we were a burden rather than guests. The Service Failures: • Zero Hospitality: We weren't greeted—just a blunt 'Birthday?' from a server who seemed like he couldn't wait for us to leave. No smile, no effort. • Fundamental Errors: The server messed up the order sheet mapping, forcing the hibachi chef to question us about where we were sitting. This is common sense in a hibachi room and it made the meal awkward. • Billing & Attitude: We were overcharged for a meal and an extra beer (charged for 4, only had 3). When I tried to help fix the check, the server visibly sighed and showed his irritation. I was trying to be helpful to someone who clearly lacked basic serving knowledge, but it was met with attitude. It’s sad to see a former favorite fall this far. I was trying to be helpful, but it’s clear there is a major lack of training and service knowledge here. I’d honestly rather spend my money at Benihana at this point, and that’s not even that good. We definitely will NOT be back."
