King Buffet

I REALLY had high hopes for this place but the food is subpar, usually over cooked, and the one time I when into the restaurant and got the buffet to go the food was old like it had been out for several hours. Dried stiff and disgusting so much so they cooked whatever we wanted, that was my first impression of the place but it was late and we tried to understanding. So we ordered take out the second time. Fresh cooked food that was reasonably good. But tonight the the sesame chicken was made with spoiled chicken, my kids pineapple chick or whatever they call it had bones in it. Which was for my toddlers. My chow mi fun was not made right, They didnt even send the large rice I paid for. Its awful. We paid over $50 and have some greenbeans and stupid fortune cookies. I tired to call since im not able to get back out tonight to talk to them face to face. And they will be closed soon. No one will answer the phone. So it looks like I will be up there in the morning returning their "food"

So honestly, 10 yrs ago this was probably some of the best food in Shelbyville. My son and I ate there recently and the food was disgusting to the point it was inedible. My son was treated to 4 days of food poisoning from the chicken so that was a blast. I will never eat there again I’m sad to say and I would suggest for your health you do the same. It does not deserve 1 star.

We like it. It has a little bit of everything and it is all good. I drive almost 30 minutes to get there and I think it's worth.
