Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This was my first time at LaMoon and it will not be my last. The food and drinks were delicious. If you like mussels they are a must try. My entree Mor din was also very good. Receiving the food was a bit slow but that would not deter me from coming back. There is parking for $6 across the street which was convenient.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ La Moon is a must do—our first visit was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the authentic music set the perfect dreamy dinner vibe, transporting us into a relaxed, joyful evening. The drinks were a highlight: the Midnight Moon was delicious with stunning presentation, and the Lion’s Tail was incredibly refreshing—both cocktails we’d order again in a heartbeat. For appetizers, the chicken gyoza were perfect—crisp, flavorful, and so good we immediately ordered a second round. The yellowtail carpaccio was spectacular, with flawless marination that melted in your mouth. Dinner elevated everything: the grilled salmon with panang sauce was bursting with flavor, beautifully plated in a unique style, and perfectly portioned. The Kao Mok with steak was a winner too—paired with fragrant pineapple fried rice and a vibrant chimichurri sauce, it was comfort food done right. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely delightful. We were seated right away, and every staff member was super friendly, engaging, and full of great recommendations with clear expertise. They even made adorable faces at our 1-year-old, turning a family dinner into a heartwarming experience. We’re already planning our return to explore more of the menu. La Moon delivers excellence in every detail—highly recommend!

I absolutely love the vibe here and the food. Let’s dive in. They sit you down fairly quickly and they have bar seating as well. They have so many great cocktails and mocktails. The art on the walls is my favorite ambiance of this place. The food is so yummy I don’t mind the price. The green beans and chicken gyozas are my fave 1000/10. The shaken beef comes with white rice but I substitute mine for fried rice which is to die for. They have valet parking in the back that is free for customers. The service is actually really well my only thing is if you sit in the back like I enjoy doing sometimes it’s hard to flag the server cause if you’re out of sight. I eat fast so I be ready to pay on my last bite. Other than that I go frequently and still enjoy every bit of this place.
