I had heard whispers of this restaurant before, but I never found the opportunity to visit. A friend of mine proposed that we check out their new location, and what an unexpected treasure we unearthed in Camden, New Jersey! Over recent years, Camden has experienced a remarkable transformation, becoming much more inviting despite its historically difficult past. This marked my very first dining experience at a restaurant in Camden, and if this is indicative of the future for the area, it’s a fantastic beginning. From the outside, you wouldn’t suspect it, but this place exudes a cozy, almost living-room ambiance. The intimate atmosphere is enhanced by a delightful selection of music, comfortable seating, open ceilings, and exposed brick—a truly desirable setting. Although parking is available in a side lot after 4 PM, we had to inquire about it as street parking seemed scarce, with possibly some metered options around the corner. Our server, Jeremy, was incredibly pleasant, attentive without being intrusive. While Jeremy wasn’t fully versed in the menu, Jeremy eagerly sought out information on certain dishes when we had questions. Transparency is vital for vegans, especially when it comes to ingredient sourcing for each dish, including sauces and breadings. While they may need a bit of improvement in this area, it’s evident they are on the right track. The menu is refreshingly straightforward—just two sides that cut to the chase, making it easy to navigate. For our appetizers, we kicked off with the much-acclaimed cauliflower wings, opting for the “hot momma” version. These featured a delightful gluten-free batter coated in a superb buffalo sauce, accompanied by freshly made ranch dressing. Although the menu indicates that all items are plant-based and gluten-free, it doesn’t list specific ingredients for the sauces and breadings; nonetheless, they were simply delicious. Next, we ordered a carrot ginger soup drizzled with coconut, adorned with fried shallots and chili oil. It was absolutely exquisite! I inquired about the creamy texture, which I found surprising, as I was told no cream was used. Despite the missing ingredient list, this was among the best soups I've had in ages, boasting a fantastic balance of flavors. As a small plate for an intermediary course, we shared some fried oyster mushrooms paired with a Romesco sauce and seared broccolini. I suspect the same breading from the cauliflower wings was employed here, and it was executed flawlessly. The broccolini was perfectly al dente and seasoned just right—I could eat it endlessly! Many places struggle with broccolini, but not this one. We also decided to share an entrée of birria tacos, typically quite substantial. This version featured jackfruit, vegan mozzarella, and an authentic consommé dipping sauce, served with a side of cilantro lime rice and radish. I didn’t notice the radish, but that's usually just a decorative garnish anyway. These tacos were hot, flavorful, and quite filling. The dipping sauce had a familiar taste that I couldn’t pinpoint; it was delicious. And of course, we had to have the one and only dessert they had called the Te Amo Matcha. This consisted of a scratch, made gluten and dairy free vanilla cake with Matcha frosting, strawberry, compote, and fresh mint. The pictures speak for themselves. It was as delicious as it looked. As I delve deeper into my reviews, I’m establishing three categories for evaluation: taste and texture, plate appeal, and ingredient sourcing along with recipe makeup. I rate this establishment a 5 for plate appeal, 5 for taste and texture, and 4 for ingredient sourcing and recipe composition. Regarding service, a little knowledge goes a long way. Jeremy excelled in this role; while not fully knowledgeable about all ingredients, Jeremy was dedicated to finding the answers we needed. As for the ambiance, the restaurant truly speaks for itself—what a charming little spot! I genuinely hope to return here in the future. So close to five stars across the board

So happy Lesbiveggies was able to open their new location! Even happier I’m close enough now to get fresh, hot delivery 😋 I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten! The cornbread is DELICIOUS, the glaze & jalapeno gives it the perfect level of sweet & spice. I always have to get the birria tacos, really can’t put into words how tasty they are. 10/10 recommend. I can’t wait to eat my way through the rest of the menu. I hope in time they can open for brunch again, I loved that menu too!

Great food, great service can't say enough good things about them.
