The male host was welcoming while the female host seemed more focused on getting our order in and ushering us to make a decision (dine-in or take out) as we looked at the menu. We ordered the Colossal Shrimp Tempura, Vegetarian Spring Tofu (stir-fry), and a large Hot & Sour soup to-go. It didn't seem busy, so our order was completed and brought out in about 7-10 minutes. To our pleasant surprise, the Colossal Shrimp Tempura with the sauce reminded us of Shrimp Canton! The Spring Tofu wasn't overly seasoned nor salty; it was just right with the rice. The Hot & Sour soup was well-balanced and not salty either. Needless to say, we were happy with the quality and taste of our dishes, and recommend giving this place a try.

The place is unique. They combine Thai foods and Japanese foods in their menu. The place more look like Japanese restaurant since it has some painting and japanese statues. The food is good. The Thai Tea is premade so you can’t request for less sugar. I like their Tempura Cheese Cake. it is so yummy! The Tom Yum Kung I ordered is a thai food with coconut. Which I prefer to have tom yum Kung without coconit milk in it.

Service started out great and were met with a waitress 2 minutes after we sat down. Ordered drinks and then the entrees. Then it took almost 20 minutes to get our food. When the food came out, it looked and tasted like it was cooked at a cheap Chinese buffet. I ordered the Cashew chicken lo mein and it looked like they barely cooked it from the fridge and slapped on some cashews (they were still bone dry as if they were pulled out of a bag). Then, we were never seen again by the waitress after the food came out. We waited 30+ minutes just to get a to go box and a check. After we packaged our food, we just went to the lobby to pay because the waiting was ridiculous. I’d understand if it was a lower standard restaurant, but 1.) it wasn’t packed, just about 6 tables throughout and 2.) the high prices demand decent food and service which this place failed to provide.
