Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My boyfriend and I have gone here a couple times before and it was always delicious, however they have now rebranded to ‘Maru Korea’ and have an entirely new menu! I was a bit worried at first because i was a big fan of their Tonkotsu, but the meal i got was SO good! The service was super fast and friendly, the restaurant was clean (although it always is!) and the server even brought us two complimentary courses while we were waiting on our food. 10/10 highly recommend!!

We love this Ramen PLACE!!!!! Its always a to go place for us when we visit the area. The food is perfect, quality and tasty! With affordable price, we feel like we got tons of the protein (the beef or the seafood). We are never disappointed! The servers were great, either the new girl or the older lady. The Korean Ice Coffee is soo delicious too. Love love love.

Maru Ramen is a fusion Asian spot that blends Japanese and Vietnamese flavors. The vibe is nice, but for the price, I expected a bit more in terms of quality — though to be fair, the portions are solid. I tried the Tonkotsu Ramen, Shrimp Tempura Ramen, and the Shrimp Tempura Crab Roll. The flavors were okay, but the chashu was overcooked, which definitely took away from the experience. Service was fine — nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Overall, not a bad place if you’re in the area and craving ramen.
