Maru Ramen has established itself as a top destination for vegan ramen enthusiasts. Reviewers consistently praise the rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh toppings that add depth to the dish. The chashu, in particular, has been noted for its tender texture and lack of overcooking. The addition of seaweed and other toppings further enhances the overall flavor experience. While the food is a highlight, some reviewers have noted that the service can be slow, especially during peak hours. Reservations may be a good idea to avoid long wait times, and be prepared for a cozy, intimate atmosphere that may not accommodate large groups. Overall, Maru Ramen is a must-visit for vegan ramen lovers, but be patient and plan ahead to make the most of your experience.

Excerpts

ramen itself is delicious: loved the broth, the noodle, and the chashu (doesn't have that over-cooked taste at all). the seaweed definitely adds a surprising umph to the overall flavor. the egg is not exactly soft-boiled, but close enough. however, the staffs are mediocre: not that big of a place, but very slow in delivering the food, and almost impossible to get their attention for 1. the check, and 2. change water (there's a bug inside my water... and they didn't add a straw when they changed the water 😒) I can probably make a big fuss about the water thing but I didn't, just minus a point for the final experience here. hope this review helps.

The noodles were absolutely delicious and the soup base was so fragrant! The chashu pork was incredibly tender, and the fried rice tasted even better when eaten with the soup base. The fried squid was very crispy, and I really loved the sauce that came with it. Also, the waitress was such a sweetheart! She was so enthusiastic and lovely, and the service was both quick and professional. I will definitely be back!

We stumbled on Maru Ramen recently, and it’s already become one of our go-to spots. The food is consistently delicious — rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh toppings that actually taste cared for. Service is fast and friendly without feeling rushed, and the place has this cozy, tucked-away vibe that makes it perfect for a quick lunch or a low-key dinner. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Definitely one of the better ramen spots around.
