Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

After several disappointing visits in the past, I wasn’t planning to return. But the new $5 meal days caught my attention, so I decided to give it another try. I’ve been back a few times since and had consistently decent experiences, the food could taste a bit better, but it’s good overall. With the new add-ons, it’s definitely great value for money, and I’ll be coming back.

I recently tried this place and overall, I’d rate it pretty well. The idli was absolutely perfect — soft, fresh, and full of flavor — easily a 10/10 for me. The Manchuria was good too, about 80% perfect — tasty and well-spiced, just could’ve been a bit crispier. One thing to note: the food is on the pricier side for the portion size, so keep that in mind if you’re going with a group or family. Also, I noticed the restaurant mostly had only Indian people dining in. While that’s great for authenticity, I’d personally love to see a more diverse crowd and the place making an effort to reach out to more locals and Americans too — it’s always nice when good food brings different people together. Overall, tasty food and worth trying, especially if you’re craving solid South Indian dishes!
