I am originally from Miami and as soon as I heard there was a Cuban place opening I HAD to go! I am part Cuban as well. I went with my husband and two young kids and the food was AMAZING! The owners were so kind and welcoming. Now, this is not traditional Cuban food. This is Cuban food with a twist. The Milanes have put their own spin on Cuban food and it is a delicious one! Dare I even say that had they opened this restaurant in Miami, it would not only survive but thrive. It is something different from typical Cuban food and I really appreciated that! I will definitely be back. Everything is amazing. Croquetas…amazing. Pastries…amazing. Pork…amazing. Chicken…you catch my drift. Try the Iced Cafe Con Leche…is is SO amazing!

I just wanna say thank you to that wonderful people. My son and I were headed to a concert, and barely made it there before closing time. The door was already locked and I thought oh well, that's on me. As we're walking back to the car, they come to the door and invite us in. Had a nice conversation about both he (the owner) and I being Cubans, moving here from Miami. I gotta admit, it's rare to meet a fellow Cuban in Pittsburgh. Let alone a nice person, from Miami! So thank you so much for feeding us some delicious Cuban food. We will be back!!! And hopefully, more vegan options to come? 🤞🏽

One the cleanest restaurants I’ve been to in a minute. The food is authentic, and also very clean eating/ingredients. Empanadas were one the best I’ve ever had, and the pork dish platter/bowl with red beans and rice was fuego 🔥 Super friendly! Oh yeah… the guava pastry was amazing. Enjoy!!
