This barbecue place was in a gas station. Despite that it was superb. The people were super nice, and the brisket was even better than that. I was traveling through Plainview on my way from Houston to Colorado. I just gambled on this BBQ place- and Mitches is a winner. Not only was a barbecue beef excellent, But the beans were superb. I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through Plainview.

I ordered the Mitch at $25.97 and I'm full. I haven't even finished the plate let alone even open the side or pudding yet. Good portions. Good overall. Favorite is the ribs so far. Update: I kept going because it was good and now my stomach hurts from being stuffed but the mashed potatoes are so good but I can't keep going. 😴

Amarillo is a 1000 times better. This is basically a copy of something that they want to charge the same for. The service sucks.. No hospitality at all. the workers just want a paycheck, that's what it seems like. They were good when they first opened up. Looks like they have new workers and seem like they have never made food. Before that lady chop me beef so small it looks like ground beef, and she left all the nasty fat on it.
