First and last time to Mr. Gyros. Waited almost 30 minutes for my food after placing my take out order. Service was ok, not friendly, not rude, not suggestive or inviting. While waiting, I overheard a table complaining amongst their table about their plate lacking several ingredients that are listed on the menu. I glanced over and they were definitely lacking what I had heard compared to the menu. Our gyros had good portion of meat and taste was ok, nothing great. The Philly cheesesteak hardly had any meat on it but had good flavor, better than the gyros. I noticed another review commented about the lack of meat on the Philly so we’re not the only ones. It was mostly bread with a thin meat layer.

Mr Gyros is hands down the most authentic food in Arizona. The flavors are unreal, everything tastes fresh, and you can tell it’s made with care. The customer service is next level — they treat you like family every time. Being family-owned makes it even better. This is my go-to spot and easily the best Mediterranean food in AZ.
