Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Organic Tree is such a gem. I’m big on vibes and the vibes are impeccable. The menu is just the right size - honestly I wanted to order everything, but was able to narrow it down to two things. The vegan and vegetarian options are incredible. The bread is all made in house, and it’s perfect. I got the Greenie sandwich, because I’m not a huge fan of kraut (which the other sandwiches had) and I’m so glad I did. It was crisp, light, refreshing, but also hearty. Also got the “cereal” warmed with steamed golden milk. When I say I died and went to heaven I really mean it. This is good that truly nourishes mind body and soul. I wish there was an Organic Tree in LA 😩. Thank you guys for doing what you do!

Wow! This place hits the mark on all levels. It’s a great stop for healthy food, fresh air, spectacular views and exercise if you’re on a California coastal road trip. Their double-fermented bread is easy on the belly and delicious — the next-best to gluten-free. They juice the drinks for you from fresh, organic produce that you can see in their fridge — talk about transparency in terms of customers seeing the ingredients. Their salads are so fresh, with interesting ingredients such as watermelon radish — yum! It’s the first time I’ve tried that. It has a slightly sweet flavor and very crunchy texture. I had the avocado toast and chai latte, made with coconut milk. The chai spices were really bursting with flavor. You can purchase imported spices there and buy loose teas by the spoonful. I bought nettle tea. You’ll find cards and notebooks and even gently used fashionable clothes there for sale. There’s plenty of free parking and you can take a walk at the marina across the street to unwind or get your steps in, climbing up to an adjacent park with a fabulous view. Bravo Organic Tree for your healthy, supportive, community-minded contribution to the world.

It had been a while since I had been to this GEM of a juice bar in Dana Point across from the harbor. My friend and I stopped in for juice and protein bites so we would have enough energy to finish our 3 mile walk. The amazon juice was OUTSTANDING! My friend got some mocha thing that she loved. The strawberry vegan protein bite things were exactly what we needed to give us enough energy to walk back to the Ocean Institute. The vibe in this place is so cool. Smiling faces, nice music, great art, fresh bread was on sale and tempting me. Bring your own jar and get $1 off of the price of the juice! Im making this a regular stop on my Harbor walk from here on out!
