AMAZING FOOD TERRIBLE SERVICE My boyfriend and I love Pho Bar’s food, but the dine-in service was honestly terrible. The young girl with black hair, brown tips, and clear glasses was extremely rude—rolling her eyes, ignoring us, and acting annoyed any time we asked for something. The place was almost empty, yet we still got the wrong food, no check-ins, no refills, and she even admitted she saw me trying to get her attention but waited 10+ minutes to come over. The food is still amazing, but the service completely ruined our experience. Management really needs to address their staff—one rude employee set the tone for the whole restaurant. We usually always tip, but this was the worst service we’ve ever had.

Pho Barr is hands down one of my favorite restaurants, and honestly, one of the best pho spots I’ve ever been to. From the first time I walked in, I knew it was going to be good, but I didn’t realize just how amazing the food would be. Every dish I’ve tried here has been full of flavor, fresh, and made with care. If you love pho, Vietnamese food, or just good food in general, you need to check this place out. Let me start with the star of the show: the filet pho. This is the BEST pho I’ve ever had. Period. The broth is so rich, flavorful, and comforting, it tastes like it’s been simmered for hours, with layers of spices that come together perfectly. It’s hearty but still light, and every spoonful feels like comfort in a bowl. The filet is tender, fresh, and cooked just right. It practically melts in your mouth. Add in the rice noodles and fresh herbs, and it’s just magic. I’ve had pho from plenty of places, and Pho Barr’s filet pho tops them all. I honestly crave it all the time. It’s that good. On top of that, their Thai tea is fantastic. Creamy, refreshing, and perfectly sweet, it’s the perfect drink to go with a hot bowl of pho. I love how balanced it is. It’s not too strong, not too sweet, just right. Every sip is so satisfying, and I always make sure to order one when I’m there. Now, let’s talk appetizers because they are just as amazing. Mama’s egg rolls are some of the best I’ve ever had. They’re crispy, golden, and filled with flavorful ingredients. You can tell they’re made with love and care. They’re not greasy or heavy like some egg rolls can be, they’re light, crunchy, and so delicious. Pair them with the dipping sauce, and it’s game over. You’ll definitely want to order more than one serving because they disappear fast. Their spring rolls are also fantastic. Fresh, light, and packed with flavor, they’re the perfect balance to the richness of the pho. The ingredients are always super fresh, the shrimp, herbs, and vermicelli noodles are wrapped tightly in that soft rice paper, making every bite refreshing and satisfying. Dip them in peanut sauce or fish sauce (or both!) and you’ll be in spring roll heaven. Honestly, the sauces at Pho Barr deserve their own shout-out. Which brings me to the sauces, all of them are so tasty. From the peanut sauce to the hoisin, fish sauce, and sriracha, everything complements the food perfectly. They’re not just afterthoughts; you can tell they put effort into making sure the sauces elevate the dishes. Every bite feels customizable, you can make it sweeter, spicier, tangier, whatever your preference, and it always tastes amazing. One of the things I also love about Pho Barr is the overall vibe. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure you have everything you need. They know the menu inside and out and are happy to recommend dishes if you’re new. The service matches the food, consistent, warm, and just makes you feel at home. To sum it all up: Pho Barr is a true gem. The filet pho is the best bowl of pho I’ve ever had, the Thai tea is creamy and refreshing, Mama’s egg rolls are out of this world, the spring rolls are fresh and perfect, and every single sauce is delicious. It’s rare to find a place where literally everything on the table is this good, but Pho Barr nails it every time. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful, and comforting Vietnamese food, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough. Do yourself a favor and make Pho Barr your next meal, you’ll thank yourself later!

Came for late lunch. Staff was very helpful and attentive. With the suggestion of staff, tried Mama's eggrolls as appetizer. It's thin, very crunchy and tastes delicious. Not your usual eggrolls here but definitely a reminder of Vietnam food. Ordered the Bo Luc Lac (shaking beef) on sizzling stone plate. It was definitely sizzling. The beef is savory and salty and very tender. Definitely on the salty side but goes very well with the fried rice that comes on the plate. I cleaned the plate. I also ordered the mixed fruit tea with aloe vera. It tastes ok but I'm a little disappointed the tea didn't have much fruit in it if at all. I was checking for fruits but only saw aloe and something else that was crushed so I could not make out what it was. Without the fruits the tea still tasted refreshing. If I'm in the area again I would definitely try out their pho as it is their specialty. It was too hot of a day this time to try it out.
