Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

A small and somewhat hiddden location hides some fun treats. I gather these offerings are targeted more toward health vs. simply sweet smoothies. I like their juices & smoothies. I’ve only sampled a few and they appear modified with various protein powders. Inside you’ll find very limited seating as they appear to focus on to-go.

Pure Green in downtown Birmingham is a fantastic spot for a quick, healthy bite! Their smoothies are absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality ingredients. The gluten-free avocado toast is a must-try. I also appreciate that they are Kosher certified. Whether you’re looking for a nutritious snack or a light lunch, this place is a go-to. Highly recommend!

Excellent smoothies - no sugar added, pure ingredients, clean protein powders, so much better than other options in town. All served with smiles and quick service in a clean modern atmosphere. I really am happy pure green is here in town. In addition to a variety of delicious smoothies (I’ve nearly tried all), they also offer açai and pitaya bowls, oatmeal bowls, different toast, (avocado, peanut butter, cashew butter, hazelnut butter) and juices. There is limited seating and parking is either on the street or the nearby structure. I have sometimes pulled into the alley to get an online order and that has worked OK. This is a great spot.
