Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The atmosphere was excellent, and I visited for the first time with my coworkers. The restaurant offered a pleasant dining environment and a straightforward menu, making it easy to choose from a variety of decent food options. The dishes we ordered were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the service could have been better. Our server did not check on us mid-meal, and we had to wait until the end of our visit to receive drink refills. Additionally, I needed extra condiments for my dish, which were not provided promptly. Overall, aside from the service shortcomings, the dinner experience was enjoyable, and the restaurant itself is a great place for a casual group outing.

Pros: cute location, food presentation is aesthetically pleasing Cons: actual taste of food is OK, high price (paid $100 for 2 people for 1 appetizer + 2 dishes, no drinks) and service was just OK Specific food review: Truffle fries with garlic aioli were delicious. Ribeye was very fatty. Beer cheese was alright, bread lacked much substance/flavor. Fried chicken was way too sweet/overly seasoned in our opinion, seemed like it was cooked in maple syrup then coated with sugar.

My mother and I happened to be in Louisville, KY seeing family. We asked Siri for recommendations for lunch and Red Yet came up! Red Yeti is in an old building, so the characteristics are stunning. We loved it as soon as we walked in. We were greeted with smiles and made to feel very welcomed. The restaurant was very clean and laid back. My mother order the Blackhawk Burger and the cheesiest Mac and cheese ever. They were both delicious! I ordered Buttermilk fried chicken with smoked Gouda cheese grits and braised kale! It was all so delicious! We were both very pleased with the entire experience and definitely recommend you try Red Yeti when you are in or near Louisville, KY. ~ Kimberly (Haires Last Resort Adventures) on YouTube
