Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I was a very excited to come to this restaurant when my mother invited me. I live like an hour and a half away at Indian Lake. There's not very many good restaurants around here, so I got a right online and saw that they had beignets and eggs Benedict and I knew immediately a week beforehand what I was going to order and they had good reviews so I was very excited - fast forward to today. a very loud, noisy environment walking in, they seated us in the very back by the kitchen, where it was extraordinarily loud I mean, I had to yell at my mother And she also had to yell at me for a normal conversation to take place. The waitress was friendly enough we placed our orders waited, and then when my order came to me, I was a little shocked because for the price of this, it should be a nice heaping helping of meat, eggs, and bread. Those things are not that expensive in the current market and I got what appeared to be a half piece of country ham cut into quarters, 2 RAW eggs over a burnt English muffin. Now you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that raw eggs can literally kill a person and so you shouldn't be serving them. I do also understand that poaching an egg is an art but since you have like four eggs Benedict items on your menu I figured you had somebody there who knew how to poach an egg. I stand corrected because you clearly do not. No problem. I sent them back and I ordered the beignets. I don't know how you messed up a beignet, but this is not a beignet. You've obviously never been to Louisiana or even brought a beignet mix from the grocery store. This looks like a fried doughnut that has a jelly in the center a generous heaping of some kind of sugary cream, cheese icing, and for $10. I should've been way happier. Regardless, I had a really good conversation with my mom. She's always very pleasant to be around. when it came time to leave I asked for a carryout box now when they took my eggs Benedict, they also took my silverware and my napkin, and they didn't bring me back anymore so when she brought me the karaoke container had to ask her for a container for the icing and a lid and a spoon to obviously scoop it out with because I'm not an animal I'm not gonna use my fingers. needless to say you had a chance to impress an out of town and you failed miserably in service and food and also in atmosphere I won't be back. There are so many beautiful places to go dine. This is absolutely not one of those places. NOT TO MENTION from your establishment, I placed an order to Marion's pizza and picked that up so I actually had something to eat for the ride home They never disappoint

Love Red Berry! Home town, cozy restaurant. Food has always been good. Service is great. There is one waitress that can be a little short sometimes. The only item so far that I would not recommend is the chicken noodle soup. The broth is good but the noodles are an afterthought and it could use more chicken. I think they add noodles AFTER the soup is ordered. Which I understand. I think it is so they do not get soggy and break down. Personally, I would just skip the soup.

Went on a busy Sunday morning and was able to phone ahead of time for a reservation for two. Arrived and were greeted and reservation was confirmed, seated within minutes. Was very busy here, but our service was prompt and attentive. Food was excellent, I had coffee and an omelette with potatoes. Food arrived promptly and hot. Would highly recommend this local treasure. Also try the beignets, a raspberry chocolate hazelnut filled with vanilla cream cheese frosting! Delicious!!
