Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Absolutely fantastic! We got here and they had closed because it was slow and they reopened just for us. Food was great, authentic Panamanian. The service was great. Very friendly and attentive. If you like Panamanian food, or have never tried it you need to go here. You wont be disappointed. We will be back again soon. Gracias.

The price is high for the area but the food was tasty and very authentic. My favorite surprise was their homemade hot sauce. It was absolutely delicious and I would buy it by the gallon if they sold it. As of August 2022 their websites menu is not even remotely close to accurate. The same is true of what I see on Grubhub. I am not sure if that is intentional but from what I see I do not believe you can order the real meals online. The menu itself in the restaurant was also very odd. There was only a few items and they had a bunch of variations not detailed on the menu with very little description of what the meals were. If you do not know the cuisine ordering may be difficult. The staff was super helpful explaining things but I feel like that should not be necessary with a proper menu. I will mention they had 5 or 6 kinds of beer on display as choices but only 1 in stock so if you want a beverage with your meal your options may be limited. The food itself was delicious. I had the pepper steak and my friend had the fish (fillet style.) Everything was cooked well and the ingredients were fresh. The plantains were also a very pleasant surprise. I feel like I have not had one that nailed the taste so well sense I was in Costa Rica. All in all I had a good time there. If you do not mind paying a bit more than normal for the area it may be a good option for you. I do feel they should take a moment to rework their menu issues both in the restaurant and online but I will defiantly keep this place in mind when I am in the area.
