Roots is our favorite coffee house! Bible and breakfast = bliss. The breakfast crepe might be the best thing ever. Chock full of veggies, eggs, cheese & bacon (my pref). Praise God for such a wonderful establishment.

Honestly, I want to love this place. I love the idea of it being shared with a ministry space. The food and the drinks I’ve tried have also been pretty good (even though their chicken is similar to Perdue Short Cuts). However, the few times I’ve been in, the staff is always extremely unpleasant. I’ve never once been greeted by anyone working there when walking in or asked if I have any questions about the menu. Basically just get ignored until I’m standing at the register trying to make eye contact with someone who can take my order. When ordering it seems like the person taking the order is bothered by me being there in the first place. This time was so uncomfortable that I decided to get my items to go and eat in my car. I had asked to leave something off my sandwich and when I got it, I realize it still had the ingredient on it so I went back in and waited in line to ask them to remake it. The girl who took my order, took the sandwich and asked the kitchen to remake it. Watching the exchange, I could tell that they were clearly frustrated. I waited in the café for my sandwich before realizing that there was an unlabeled box just sitting at the pick up counter and nobody had told me that it was ready. I ended up going up to the counter and asking a girl that I had made eye contact with a few times if that was my remade sandwich to which she said yes. Overall, if you don’t care about customer service at a place like a café it’s probably fine for you, but if you care at all about good customer service, I would not recommend going here.

Dedicated Gluten Free place, lots of healthy options too. We got salads and tomato soup. Tomato soup was great, salad with chicken was okay. Cozy environment, would visit back if we are ever in the area again, for a quick healthy choice of food.
