Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Stopped at Ruby Tuesday in Bartow on the way to Lakeland Linder Airport thinking we’d grab a quick, decent meal. They were running a sirloin special, but the waitress told us the sirloins were frozen. Fair enough — I switched to a ribeye, medium. What showed up looked suspiciously like the sirloin that had been “frozen.” And possibly thawed sometime last Tuesday. It was cooked to a texture I can only describe as “left under a heat lamp during a hurricane.” We asked about it and the waitress said, “Oh I know, you got the wrong steak — we’re cooking your sirloin now.” Which was interesting, since I didn’t order a sirloin anymore… but okay. Round two comes out and this one had the opposite problem — they apparently forgot the “cooking” part. It was so rare it could’ve applied for a grazing permit. Manager came over and basically blamed the kitchen, the grill, the moon phase, and at one point made it sound like ordering steak there was our first mistake. Confidence inspiring. To their credit, they did comp the meal, which was appreciated. But if you’re craving steak on your way through Bartow… maybe just wave at Ruby Tuesday as you drive by and keep rolling toward Lakeland

Food was wonderful. Service was fast and professional. Atmosphere felt comfortable and relaxing. My waiters name was Jenna, she was wonderful, kind and patient with us. Would definitely come back again.

The menu is great. Really good food and not what I'm used to for a Ruby Tuesday so I feel the revamp worked. Clean inside and great new look. I got what's essentially Parmeasean Mac n Cheese and it's a solid combo. Fried pickle fries are a bit pricey for remixed typical fried pickles but still tasted great. Tina was out server and definitely 5 stars. Very attentive while working the bar. All the refills and plate clearing. Thank Tina!
