Excerpts

I went with a friend and we had such an amazing experience from start to finish. We couldn’t decide between two dishes, so we ordered both — and the lovely lady working there actually split everything into two plates for us, perfectly portioned and beautifully presented. Such a thoughtful touch! We had the burek and the goulash, and both were absolutely delicious — comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The flavors were rich and authentic, the kind of food that makes you want to savor every bite. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet — one of the best I’ve had!!! Then we finished with a matcha latte, which was amazing — smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The café itself is super clean and cozy, with a warm, welcoming vibe. The ladies working there were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuine — they made us feel right at home. Overall, Rumours Café is an absolute standout — fantastic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!

An Oasis of Flavor in the Valley! This place reminded me of home. My Japanese mother went to a French cooking school and the osso buco and oxtail stew meat would fall off the bone. I ate gourmet "fusion" nearly every day of my life. (Plus, I've cooked with Emeril.. but I digress) I have to say, Mom would be proud to taste the #Serbian goulash made here at #RumorsCafe in @Encino. Not to mention, the #burek beef and its spinach cousin are made onsite with homemade #phyllo dough! Did they pay me to say this? No. Though I'd work in the back just for the food. @rumorscafe.losangeles #authenticserbian #encino #rumorscafe #bestinvalley

Just found this place today and I really liked it! It’s super clean and a great spot to grab lunch near work. They make homemade soup every day, which is such a nice touch. I had the mushroom soup today and it was so good! The lady working there is really sweet and welcoming. Definitely coming back
