This place is exactly how the mexican food in my dreams taste -- I got the chorizo enchiladas and literally every single component was picturesque and tasty The food is also plated pretty nicely, just a small bonus. If you're coming during peak hours, just be aware that there's only seating for about 4 people inside the Sabor Mexicano building. I did hear from the waiter though that Dosa Point (in the same strip mall, directly to the east) is owned by the same person and you could probably get your food and move to eat there, though I'd double check with staff first 🙃

This place is misleading. It is not authentic Mexican food, do not be fooled by the Mexican decor, and they didn’t have the beverages we wanted. The was food slowly brought out, salsas were okay. Overall, we left disappointed.

The best tacos I’ve had in all of Skokie. This is a hole in the wall taqueria that punches way above its weight class! Wow! What One of the best birria tacos I’ve had; smooth and siiky refried beans - really nice !!!
