Great burgers in a great location. This location is right in the middle of terminal A at Newark Liberty EWR airport. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and it was great. The burger patties were thick and juicy, there was a good amount of cheese and mushrooms and overall the burger was a great size and flavorful. I also ordered cheese fries and those were good. I also like that some of the seats are right next to the giant windows. I'm a hardcore aviation enthusiast and I really enjoyed plane spotting and watching the ramp action while eating my lunch on a long layover.

I've lived in the United States for over 10 years, visited hundreds of cities and thousands of restaurants, and even worked in restaurants for a long time. I've never met anyone as rude and unfriendly as the woman behind the bar. I bought a burger combo, sat down, and went to pick up my order at the counter. This incredibly rude woman told me to move, saying that wasn't the place to order food. She said it in a completely rude way. While I was eating, she chased away at least 10 people who walked by or interacted with her, swearing at them. She had a terrible attitude and was incredibly rude. This woman clearly hates her job and just scares people away. I've never met anyone with such an attitude. She looks at people with disgust. Not even immigration or TSA agents are that rude. I wouldn't want to imagine this woman in a job where she had legal power! I would never go back to that place and I would never recommend it to anyone while that woman is there. By the way, the cashiers and kitchen staff are very kind and helpful; they shouldn't have to work with a coworker like that. I feel sorry for them. I'm saying this as a customer; I know everyone has personal problems and their own struggles, but many of us haven't had a good day, and when we go to a place with public services, we shouldn't be forced to receive bad treatment just because someone hates their job.

If you need a quick and satisfying meal near the gate, this spot is perfect. I placed an order for pickup, and it arrived quickly — just in time before my flight started boarding. The burger tasted exactly like other Shake Shack meals I’ve enjoyed — juicy, flavorful, and consistent. Prices are a little higher, which is expected at an airport, but the quality makes it worth it. Overall, a reliable and tasty choice for a fast casual meal on the go.
