Loved the vibe of this place. We didn't get the bread we were supposed to get with our dumplings and they were out of beef. The chicken dumplings Alaska style were good. The potato and cheese Russian style had a ton of dill on them. Definitely get a bigger portion of you are planning on this being a meal.

I had the beef dumplings with the Alaskan sauce. Really good. The atmosphere was like a hole in the wall cafe. Definitely will come back.

Slader’s Alaskan Dumpling Co. is one of those spots that just hits right. The first time I went, I figured it would be decent, but it turned out to be way better than I expected. The whole place feels relaxed and unpretentious, and the food speaks for itself. It is hard to describe why dumplings this simple feel so satisfying, but they just do. My usual order is the Beef Pel’meni Alaskan style with extra OG sauce. The mix of butter, curry, and spicy vinegar sounds odd until you try it. Then it makes perfect sense. Every bite has that rich flavor that keeps you going back for more. I have tried the chicken and potato versions too, and honestly, I have not had a bad plate yet. The space is small, with a steady flow of people coming and going. The staff are easygoing and friendly, and it feels like the kind of place where everyone genuinely likes what they are doing. It is simple, comfortable, and always hits the spot. If you are anywhere near Searcy and want something that feels homemade but better, go here.
