I am pleasantly surprised by the news that there is an Indian restaurant with adequate hall size to organize small to medium size gatherings in and around Davis. I attended a birthday party here a couple of weeks back. The ambiance was good, and the food was delicious. I revisited the place to check out other items. My favorites were the South Indian dosas, samosas, and the desi-style samosa chat. The chef was kind to adjust the spiciness as per our taste buds. The restaurant has more dishes to serve than the ones listed in the menu brochure. Just talk to the restaurant owner and find out what additional options are available. And most importantly, the price is low, and the portions are plentiful. The owner told me they deliver to Davis through Doordash and other online food delivery services like Uber Eats. They are also open for catering services, it seems. I wish this restaurant had opened much earlier.

My husband had the chicken Tikka masala and I had the butter chicken. We shared the garlic Naan, everything was absolutely amazing! The only thing I wish was different, was I wanted more 🤤. Definitely worth the stop! We also chatted with the owner and he was very kind! If I was a local, I'd be eating here often 😅

This is a nice little shop with a very nice man running it. I came in for lunch and had the chicken tiki masala with basmati rice and garlic naan. The food is good. It’s not my favorite but it’s good. The tiki masala is a little tomato-y than I prefer, I had this thought that Campbell tomato soup was the base for it. Also the chicken tastes a little bland, I suspect it is heated up in a microwave then chopped up and quickly mixed into the curry. The naan is the star and truly delightful though - light, airy, fluffy and slightly chewy. A lot of garlic naan suffers from getting slightly burnt and ends up bitter and that is not a problem here at all. The owner is really quiet, nice, respectful, he runs a nice joint. Th A/C is a bit low for a hot day but it’s not too bad.
