Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Amazing little hole in the wall and so well worth the wait. Prices are less than McAllisters, portions are just as big but here you have home made and locally owned

I don’t know how this place stays in business. I’m writing this review after giving the place many chances over the last year. They are always understaffed, often running the whole place with ONE single person taking orders, cooking, serving and cleaning. It’s ridiculous. A simple order for 2 people always takes at least 20 if not 30-40 minutes, and often has at least one thing wrong or missing. They bring you one small plastic cup of syrup for 2 huge pancakes. They never bring your silverware with the food, they always have to go back for it. Things like that, every single time. Their self-serve house coffee is always out or running so low you’re pumping the carafe for dregs. And to top it all off, they act like they’re doing you a favor for all of this. Don’t bother.

The food was great I had the Italian Panni my wife had the bacon Ranch croissant. The place is decorated to show off its antique character.
