Sunflowers & Greens is a very lovely café with a charming atmosphere, and the food itself was genuinely delicious. However, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the service and pricing. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. We felt uncomfortable almost immediately, as if we were an inconvenience rather than customers. The attitude throughout our visit came across as “why are you here and when are you leaving?” The prices were high for what was offered. While the salads were delicious, they were $21 for a very small portion, and I even had to ask for bread (which was delicious) To make matters worse, a gentleman dressed in a suit approached us and asked us to give up one of our tables and we felt more comfortable to leave. We were a party of three sitting at two small two-person tables, and this interaction felt rude and embarrassing. In addition, the gentleman in the suit was paying particular attention to a couple that was having several tastings of wine and food. Perhaps they were hosting a food critic and perhaps we did not support the vibe they were trying to achieve. How sad and disappointing, we drove an hour and a half to dine at this cafe because of the Google reviews. While the café itself is beautiful and the food is good, the unwelcoming service and disproportionate pricing made this an experience I would not choose to repeat.

This is not a restaurant where you sit with friends and enjoy the ambiance. Although it looks pretty and the food was fresh it is not welcoming. There are too many waitstaff for the space and they hovered and stared - not in a welcoming manner.. The tables are few - 3 two tops and a bar across the wall. The food was good but overpriced for the serving size. We felt rushed both to order and to eat and free up the table quickly. Was so hopeful for a better experience. Unless you are getting carry out I would not recommend.
