This place is the perfect stop for a hikers lunch or coffee to hit the road. They offer a selection of sandwiches and plenty of coffee drink options paired with a local atmosphere as the rest of the building is filled with art and wares from local artists and vendors. A good stop for a souvenir or simply to build community as they often hold events such as the winter market or even craft classes held by artists so make sure to check out their calendar. They have a large side room for dining but they also offer the room available to rent for small events like a shower/party etc. The sycamore tree outside is amazing in the fall, dropping giant leaves over the playground and dining area. I honestly believe they should have built a larger building because it seems to be packed every time I visit. And I love to stop by because the barista is so nice 😄

My husband surprised me with a lunch date here, and it was such a great choice! You can eat inside the bright, welcoming dining area or outside at the picnic tables. There’s even a playset for kids and the Hanging Rock Battlefield Trail nearby. We had the blueberry grilled cheese and the turkey apple cheddar (both on sourdough) with chips and salsa. I got a smoothie, and my husband had an iced coffee. Everything was fresh, delicious, and filling. They also have a great retail section with locally made goods like cards, art, soaps, and more. Definitely worth a visit to support this wonderful local spot!
