Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Came with a group of friends last night to try Tapa Vino out for the first time. It’s a cool little place tucked inside the Public Market. The music was a little loud to me but the atmosphere overall was nice. The wifi system was down so there was a delay in getting our food and our check at the end. Our meal lasted 3.5 hours…it took a while to get the wine (almost an hour since our server didn’t come by to take our drink order until at least 45 minutes after we got there) and then even longer to get our plates. We didn’t mind the wait overall as it gave us time to talk and enjoy our plates/wine but not a place to stop at if you’re in a hurry! Our server was friendly but forgot little things - plates, silverware, napkins. We had requested more water around the second half of the meal which we didn’t get. It’s not a big restaurant so it was a little hard to understand these mistakes. The food however was delicious - no complaints there! The wine was also amazing! The chef came around at the end to check in. I would go back and try more menu items but definitely give yourself a good amount of time here!

Came here for restaurant week and was not disappointed. Delicious choices all around! The chef came over and talked to us for a bit explaining the family history. Fun fact, the chef uses a 200 year old family recipe for the meatballs! They were out of this world. Don't ever change the recipe!

I had one of the best dining experiences ever at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish. The food was absolutely amazing and every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Service was fast, the drinks were great, and the whole experience felt smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this one truly did. I loved it so much that I already made reservations for my birthday dinner. Huge shout-out to Chef Kevin and his crew for doing an amazing job.
