enJOY this place!!! You will LOVE it here!!! Not just feel-good, extra tasty, unique comfort food but awesomely huge hearted crew with unmatched service! THANK YOU The Melt team!!! They made my heart melt and feel good, not trying to be corny, they make you feel like family and beyond satisfy your appetite and taste buds!!! Feels like I can’t even do a review great enough! FINALLY - An AMAZINGLY AWESOME ☝🏻🙌🏻💯🔥😋👊🏻❤️♥️ restaurant in Torrance!!! You guys freaking rock!!! LOVE THIS PLACE. Right at the Del Amo mall across from Lucille’s. Got the patty melt, fries, Classic 3-Cheese, Tomato soup, cookies, brownie, pickles, Mac n Cheese, free samples generously given didn’t even have to ask they offered. The soda uses real cane sugar , best I’ve had in my life. Like actually exciting to do a review on somewhere like this because it’s not the usual spot or just another “new” place here in the South Bay …they have a long standing history because they’re that solid and now finally here! - their sayings on the wall are no joke they’re honest in what they’re stating and doing. AMAZING SUPER AWESOMELY TASTY menu, set apart from others in the South Bay, not just the quality of the food but their customer service is from the heart and they actually care about others not just treating customers like it’s just a business. When I first ever walked in here, at the mall Grant and Sophie greeted me with huge smiles and asked me how I was and made me feel welcomed, super attentive, genuine, friendly and made me feel taken care of and made my night! Even went back the next night too for myself and family. Hospitality and servanthood at its best, been waiting for something to come over here just like The Melt! Bob’s Big Boy left years ago, Johnny Rockets gone, The Melt is the new version of genuine crew and delicious, comfort, full of flavor goodness food! When I say their customer service it’s a big deal because that’s hard to find these days and they are so kind and helpful and appreciate what they do and have an awesome energy and attitude and working their butt off making it all come together. It’s funny when I used to live in Irvine for a few years, (grew up in Torrance, came back in 2014) I used to always see The Melt at the Spectrum but I never tried it when I had been there and I was by the Del Amo mall other night and I seen The Melt here now and I’m like wait a second is that the same place !?? So now it’s my new favorite and finally got to try it and beyond happy I did. I might not be able to stop coming here everyday tho so I might have a problem lol. The portion size is beyond generous, extra fries in the bag, size of patty melt burger huge but not gross or too much , so tender and juicy and so much flavor paired with the cheese, mayo, onions, toasted bread just too good to describe. Super nice ambience and atmosphere too inside and out, upbeat, comfy, clean, humble but classy and done right, good/amazing “different”, unique vibes, eclectic, country rustic/carnival fun meets modern nostalgic, retro feel and I’m obviously no critic on restaurant interior or exterior design or genre or style per say but what they’re marketing and their identity isn’t just a pretty image or front - it’s evident of what they’re serving and how appreciative they are doing it and why they do it because they love it seems making sure guests love their experience!!! Great quality and ingredients not just in the food but level of service and how they make you feel!!! One hugely beyond satisfied customer - Love you guys!!! An legendary burger—I absolutely loved it! The service was fast, and the food arrived hot. You can take as many drinks and sauces as you like, and the fries were delicious. They didn't accept cash, so I paid by card; aside from that, everything was great.
