When I lived in western Illinois for ten years, the Old Dairy was where we went every Saturday for our lunch and library tradition. My daughters and I continue this tradition every time I’m visiting from NY; the Old Dairy is special to us and more than a dining establishment… it’s a neighborhood center. Ate here while up here working for a day, staff was very friendly. Large helpings of food. Hot mess and cow pile were definitely wonderful and plenty to fill you up. Nice place to relax and enjoy a breakfast with the locals.

A good handful of people have recommended old dairy to me, and i had just gotten the time to finally try it out. Nice, clean place. The staff was friendly and the food was great and reasonably priced. Will definitely come again when i have the chance
