The Olive Tree Restaurant

Great dinner, very friendly service, clean restaurant. This was a pleasant place to go while staying at a nearby hotel.

3 of us were on a work trip and actually dined here both of the nights we were here. Steven, our waiter, was amazing and made recommendations that were heavenly. The portions are generous and everything was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ask about the specials!!

I recently dined at Olive Tree Restaurant on Valentine’s Day, and while the service was friendly, the overall experience was a bit disappointing. Our waitress was kind but seemed flustered, muttering under her breath as she managed the busy rush. She did her best, but when we showed her a picture of a dish from the restaurant’s own photos, she told us they didn’t serve it, which was confusing. It made me wonder if the restaurant is using images of food that aren't actually on the menu. As for the food, the portions were generous, but the flavors were underwhelming. The crab cakes lacked seasoning, and I had to add lemon to the sauce just to give them some flavor. The chicken piccata was dry and bland, though the lemon sauce helped a little. The noodles were just plain boiled with no seasoning or olive oil to enhance them. The highlight of the meal? The rolls. They were fresh and delicious, standing out as the best part of the dining experience. Given the positive reviews I had seen beforehand, I expected more in terms of flavor. Maybe the Valentine’s Day rush played a role in the inconsistency, but overall, the food was bland and didn’t live up to the hype. Also, if you have little children, be aware that the restaurant only has one bathroom stall for males and one for females, so there may be a wait if the place is busy. I hope this was just an off night, but I’d be hesitant to return unless the quality and flavor improve.
