Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My friend and I ordered different items and shared half and half. She ordered the breakfast burrito and I order the breakfast morning burger. When I tell you!!! The flavors were AMAZING!!! Highly recommend. And the hot cocoa!? Out of this world.

Loved our lunch at The Salty Chefs! The place is pretty cozy, and the menu has plenty of great options. We tried the "Buffalo Morning" and "Bacon Blue" burgers—both were fantastic and the portions are huge! The burgers come with a side, and we loved the buffalo chicken soup and the soup of the day. They were the perfect warm-up on a windy day. We sat by the window, which was a nice spot, and the service was very friendly. The best part? We got a free biscuit for finishing our plates! Highly recommend if you're in Buffalo.

Breakfast burrito with bacon and breakfast sandwich with sausage were both very good. The coffee was also good. We shared the matzo ball soup which had a very welcoming flavor. Next time I'll bring my own soup spoon though, so I don't have to use a plastic one, plus I was never a fan of using plastic cutlery anyways especially for one-time use then throwing them in the garbage.
