🍽😋 Love The Social Plate! Second visit back and just as impressive as my first. Warm and cozy family café. Favorite menu item - The Crème Brûlée Waffle 🧇🫐🍓 Crispy, sweet and topped with fresh fruit. I like to add a side order of bacon... because you know, Bacon! My Waitress was Nickie! Very professional and attentive. Thank you. You can tell the owners know what they’re doing, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. Great spot for breakfast or lunch in Downtown Bartow!

We went this morning, Sunday, around 10:40 am. It was still just 31 degrees out. The FL 2026 Winter Snap! Everything started out very nicely. Seated immediately, table by the window, and greeted by our server. We both ordered coffee which was brought promptly. Both coffees had spoons, mine had lipstick still on it. No biggie, they brought me a new one. The small bowl of creamer had, at one point, coffee spilled all over it because every individual creamer had coffee splatter stains all over. Again, we looked past that and used the creamer. Asked our waiter for napkins and silverware. Napkins were what we actually needed at the time to put our coffee spoons on after stirring in the cream. Never got them. Finally when our food arrived, so did the napkins and silverware. By this time, the coffee had cooled. We had another server come by after flagging her down. I explained our coffee had gotten cold and we needed more. She said she'd be happy to and would be right back. We'll, to my surprise, just like our napkins and silverware were forgotten, so was the coffee!! Food was warm, not hot- especially the white gravy. We ended up just paying our bill and leaving. Second time there, might not go back.
