First time here. I searched for a "different" restaurant as I traveled to a vendor. This place caught my eye. I'm glad I stopped for lunch. Their soup & half sandwich gives you a good meal. First thing is that the 1/2 and 1/2 usually includes s cup of soup... not here! You get the whole bowl. Seeing yhe Angry Biscuit line on the wall begged the question. It is a Mashup stack of hash browns, biscuit and whatnot to give you a meal that stands tall. I just wanted to try a biscuit and it was fresh and warm. Served with peach & strawberry jam plus a few pats of butter. Delicious is the result. Their lentil soup hit the spot and complemented the 1/2 of turkey sandwich. If I am ever in that area again, that is where I will have lunch!

First time visit. Definitely worth a try. Food was delicious. Came out relatively fast for how busy it was on a Sunday morning. Wait time wasn’t too bad. Attentive waiter.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant was almost empty (maybe four or five tables), yet my order of chicken and waffles took nearly 45 minutes to arrive. When it finally came, the chicken was extremely dry. I politely mentioned this to the waitress, and she said she’d get the manager. Instead of coming himself, the manager first sent her back with word of a “small discount.” I told her I didn’t even want the food. Only then did the manager come over—and he was shockingly rude. He accused me of lying, even after I showed him the dried-out chicken. His response was to offer making me another dish, but when I explained I didn’t have another 45 minutes to wait, he dismissively said, “Not my problem.” To make matters worse, when I asked his name, he told me it was “Joe.” I believe one of the owners. An older gentleman with gray hair and a beard—unprofessional and dishonest. Terrible food, and an even worse attitude from management. Save yourself the time and frustration—go anywhere else. In the end he still made me pay for half the dish.
