I was a bit nervous about trying The Spread today, especially since the online reviews are quite mixed. When I arrived, I was greeted by a charming building with irresistible aromas that immediately set the tone for a great meal. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and upgraded it to a combo. For my side, I chose the ranch pasta salad, which was exactly what I expected—delicious and satisfying. The salad didn’t look very appetizing at first glance, but it tasted fantastic, and I was happy with my choice. The veggies in the salad were incredibly fresh, provided by a farmer in the Dell—if you’re local, you know that means top-quality ingredients. The real standout was the Buffalo Chicken sandwich on cheddar jalapeño bread—it was outrageously good. I definitely plan to order it again. I also appreciated that they carry Mexican Coke, which is always a nice touch. Overall, I’d give this place a 10 out of 10. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and patient with me as a first-time customer trying to decide what to order. If you’re in Desert Hot Springs, I highly recommend stopping by The Spread. Was in desert hot springs I happened upon the spread and I was so happy I did. Don't judge it from the outside, you will be so surprised at the incredible, funky atmosphere. The pesto chicken sub was delicious, the bread divine and served by the incredible Sara. We loved this place so much we stopped again on our way out of town.

Quick and efficient setup. Food quality and prices were significantly better than competitors. Friendly staff. Excellent choice if you are working in the area. Will definitely be revisiting!
