We were here for the grand re opening and all the staff were incredible. Cozy neighborhood feel to this bar and grill. The burgers we got were so delicious. Fries were perfect. Go give the new owner and her staff some love. You wont be disappointed. We plan to make the drive back soon. Also live music is always good and we were there when Crimson Theory played. They are a phenomenal band. Hoping they are back at the Yard sometime soon.

The Yard is exactly the kind of place I want to support in our community. It takes courage and resilience to step into ownership, especially following something long established, and it’s clear the new owner is putting in real effort to improve, grow, and make people feel welcome. I admire a strong woman who stands up for herself, works hard, and leads with confidence. Menomonie needs businesses that evolve, bring fresh energy, and aren’t afraid to do things well and do them differently. That alone makes this a place worth supporting. I’ll be making a special trip to Menomonie specifically to support The Yard and Brittany, and I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing what she continues to build here. I went to college in Menomonie and was back for the weekend a bit ago to check this place out. The service is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you walk in. You can tell the staff actually cares about the experience they’re providing, not just going through the motions. The owner truly sets the tone here. They’re hands-on, personable, and clearly take pride in the business, which shows in every detail. It’s rare to find a place where the ownership is this invested in both the customers and the quality of service. Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, The Yard makes you feel taken care of. Highly recommend supporting this local gem.
